Carley Betteridge

Family Paralegal

Carley is a Paralegal in our Care Department, known for her supportive approach and strong, personal relationships with clients. She joined the firm in January 2024 as a Secretary and quickly progressed to her current role, drawing on her previous experience as a Managing Director and her background working in a busy airport environment.

Carley has completed a Diploma of Higher Education in Children and Education, giving her valuable insight into the challenges faced by families involved in care proceedings. She works predominantly on Public Law Outline (PLO) matters and frequently attends in‑person meetings at the Town Hall, ensuring clients feel fully supported and represented. Her commitment to understanding each client as an individual means she often goes above and beyond to make sure their needs are met.

With strong local connections and a natural ability to put people at ease, Carley plays an important role in helping clients navigate what can be a very difficult and emotional process.

Outside of work, Carley enjoys spending time with her many friends and her large family.
