Managing Partner, Executive Head of Conveyancing

Chris is an experienced solicitor and partner specialising in both residential and commercial conveyancing. 

After completing his Law degree in Bristol, he trained with Berry Redmond & Robinson and qualified as a solicitor in September 2000. He became a partner in 2007 and now leads the firm’s Residential and Commercial Conveyancing teams. Chris also serves as the firm’s COFA, MLCO and SRO.

Chris advises on a wide range of property matters, including domestic sales and purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages. His commercial practice covers the sale and acquisition of industrial units, retail premises, hospitality venues and other commercial properties. He also handles transactions involving the sale or purchase of businesses as going concerns, ensuring both the commercial and property elements are dealt with smoothly.

In addition, Chris drafts and negotiates business leases for landlords and tenants and provides practical advice on issues that arise during the lease term, such as assignments and rent reviews. His commercially minded approach and depth of sector knowledge allow him to support clients ranging from individual homeowners and buy‑to‑let landlords to small businesses and major developers.

Chris is known for offering clear, constructive advice and is committed to achieving a straightforward, efficient transaction for every client.
