Kate is the firm’s dedicated Criminal Legal Clerk, bringing extensive experience and a calm, reassuring presence to our clients and team alike. 

She joined the firm in September 2021 after a distinguished 21‑year career with Her Majesty’s Courts Service, where she worked predominantly within the Criminal Justice System. During her time in the courts, Kate developed a deep working knowledge of criminal procedure, case progression, and the day‑to‑day realities faced by individuals navigating the justice system.

In her role with us, Kate plays a key part in supporting clients throughout the course of their Crown Court proceedings, ensuring they are kept informed, prepared, and supported at every stage. She also provides valuable assistance across a wide range of other criminal law matters, working closely with our solicitors to help deliver a seamless and efficient service.

Kate is known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and her ability to connect with clients during what can often be a challenging and unfamiliar process.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending her time reading, walking, and cooking.
