Laura Cole

Trainee Police Station Representative

Laura is a key member of our Criminal Defence team, having joined the firm in September 2023 and quickly becoming an essential part of the department. With a strong background in customer service and previous experience at another firm of solicitors, she brings excellent communication skills and a confident, client‑focused approach to her work.

In 2025, Laura began her Police Station Representative course and is aiming to qualify in summer 2026. She has already attended numerous police station visits in preparation and is excited to represent clients independently once qualified. Laura also provides invaluable support to the solicitors, assisting with case preparation and occasionally attending court on busy days to help ensure matters run smoothly.

Well‑known locally, Laura has strong ties within Weston and is particularly skilled at building rapport with clients from all backgrounds. Her warm, approachable manner and ability to make clients feel understood and supported make her a trusted point of contact within the team.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with friends, family and her wider local community.
