Shannon Vaughn

Solicitor

Shannon is a solicitor in our Criminal Defence department, providing clear, focused, and compassionate support to clients facing criminal investigations or proceedings. 

She studied Law at the University of Bristol, completing her Master of Arts in Law in 2021. Shannon joined Berry Redmond Gordon & Penney in 2022 as a trainee solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in April 2024.

Shannon represents and advises clients in Magistrates’ Court matters, whether the case is funded by legal aid or on a private basis. She is also an accredited police station representative, regularly attending interviews to ensure clients receive timely, accurate legal advice at the earliest stage of an investigation. Her calm approach, attention to detail, and strong advocacy skills make her a valuable member of the Criminal Defence team.

Dedicated to ensuring clients feel supported and understood, Shannon works hard to provide advice that is practical, clear, and free from unnecessary legal jargon. She is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for every client she assists.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending quality time with her family and taking countryside walks with her two lovely dogs.
