Wayne is a highly experienced CILEX Paralegal with over 15 years’ experience in criminal defence. He has represented clients across a broad range of matters and is known for his methodical preparation, clear analysis and strong understanding of criminal law.
In addition to extensive litigation experience, Wayne has spent many years representing clients during police investigations. He recognises that the early stages of a case can be crucial and provides clear, strategic advice from the outset, ensuring clients fully understand their rights and the potential consequences of any decisions made. His calm, straightforward approach helps clients feel supported at what is often a stressful time.
Wayne is particularly noted for his detailed knowledge of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE). This expertise allows him to carefully scrutinise police conduct, identify procedural errors and robustly challenge any breach of a client’s rights. He is known for being direct yet approachable, building strong rapport with clients while offering honest advice, clear communication and consistent support.
Wayne is currently working towards obtaining rights of audience to represent clients in court.
Outside of work, Wayne enjoys powerlifting, boxing and reading.
