Jane is an experienced and approachable solicitor who has specialised in Private Client work for more than two decades. 

She qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and began her career with a local Somerset firm the same year. In December 2015, she brought her wealth of expertise to Berry Redmond Gordon & Penney LLP, where she continues to provide tailored and compassionate advice to clients and their families.

Jane’s practice covers a wide range of Private Client matters, including the Administration of Estates, Inheritance Tax planning, Wills, advice for older or vulnerable clients, Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection applications. Her work combines technical knowledge with a sensitive, people‑centred approach, ensuring clients feel supported and confident throughout what can often be emotionally challenging processes.

Known for her empathy and clarity, Jane takes the time to understand each client’s personal circumstances, the changes they may be facing, and their long‑term goals. She is committed to offering clear, practical advice without unnecessary legal jargon, making sure clients fully understand their options at every stage.

Having worked in Somerset throughout her career, Jane is deeply committed to serving the local community. She remains actively involved in both local and national charity work, reflecting her strong belief in giving back and supporting those around her.

Jane also recognises that not all clients are able to attend the office. She is always happy to visit clients in their homes to ensure they can access the advice and support they need in a comfortable and convenient setting.
